'You cant let praise or citicism get to you. Its a weakness to get caught up in either one' John Wooden

Apparantly praise is harder to accept then criticism and we know thats true, the pause between when someone pays you a compliment and the awkward feeling you experience when standing on the recieving end of it pondering whether the answer you give should consist of a modest 'Thank you very much' or ' No i think i could improve but thank you anyway'.

In Dance Strand we did an activity involving telling a partner four dance attributes and three improvements. Paired with Talia-Brodie Francis, an amazing dancer in my strand, i recieved this feedback...

Things I am good at :

Team Leader; I can address my point without being rude and get people to listen.
Good Showmanship; I have good eyeline and present whatver dance I am doing well.
Technically Precise; I keep alighments and finish the movements correctly.
Choreographing; I am inivertive and have new ideas and mix them with old moves.

Improvement:
Flexibility: To do this I will have to stretch everyday for half an hour and dedicate myself to it. Including crunches, lunges and staying in the splits for around half an hour each day. My aim will be to be able to lay on my back and my legs ,in box splits upside down, will be able to make a horizontal line with my toes touching the floor.

Discover and try new styles: To broarden my capability and be more appealing to employers. By joining extra curriculumn classes at BRIT and attend classes at Pineapple for a new dance school. I will know i've achieved this by next year in our year 11 dance show and how capable i am at including, fusing and performing multiple genres.

Improve your diet to improve your ability: To achieve and support my body to the best of my ability. I could write out a chart to what I need to eat according to how much exercise I do that particular day and include everything in what I eat on that day. To see if i have completed each week i will review the chart and each week cross of more and more unhealthy foods until there is none.
